What this job is
Business Analysts sit at the intersection of operations and technology. The core work is understanding how an organisation functions, spotting where things break down or could run better, and then documenting what a solution needs to look like. That might mean running workshops with staff, mapping out current processes, writing requirements documents, or testing whether a new system actually does what the business asked for. The role is less about building software and more about making sure the right thing gets built in the first place.
Pay
A$2,697 a week
This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
