What this job is

Logistics Coordinators organise the movement of goods from one point to another. That means booking freight, tracking shipments, communicating with suppliers and carriers, and making sure delivery schedules stay on track. When something goes wrong, such as a delayed shipment or a warehouse backlog, the coordinator works out a fix and keeps everyone informed. The role is less about physical labour and more about planning, communication, and problem-solving under time pressure.
