What this job is

Motor Claims Estimators inspect vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or other incidents. They work out what repairs are needed, source parts pricing, and produce written estimates that insurers or customers use to approve and fund repair work. The role requires a solid understanding of how vehicles are built and how repair costs are calculated. Estimators often act as a link between the vehicle owner, the repairer, and the insurance company.

Pay

A$1,995 a week

This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
