What this job is
A property manager acts as the link between a property owner and the people who rent or lease that property. The core work involves finding and screening tenants, setting and collecting rent, arranging repairs, conducting inspections, and making sure all parties meet their legal obligations under state tenancy legislation. Some property managers work across a portfolio of dozens of properties at once, which means the role is as much about administration and communication as it is about real estate knowledge.
Pay
A$1,504 a week
This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
