What this job is
Risk Analysts examine the things that could go wrong for an organisation and put a number or rating on how serious each threat is. They gather data, build models, write reports, and present findings to managers or committees. The goal is to give decision-makers clear information so the organisation can act before a problem becomes a crisis. Common areas of focus include credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and compliance risk, though the exact scope depends on the employer.
Pay
A$2,072 a week
This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
