What this job is
A Visual Merchandiser decides how products are presented in a store or display environment. This includes planning floor layouts, building window displays, selecting props and signage, and making sure the overall look matches a brand's style guide. The role is hands-on and creative, but it also involves close coordination with store managers, buyers, and marketing teams. Getting a display right means understanding what draws a customer's eye and what encourages them to pick something up.
Pay
A$1,200 a week
This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
