What this job is
A Court Clerk supports the day-to-day operation of a court or tribunal. The core work involves processing legal documents, maintaining case files, recording proceedings, and assisting judicial officers with administrative tasks. Court Clerks also deal directly with members of the public, lawyers, and police, so clear communication matters as much as paperwork accuracy. The role is firmly inside the public sector, typically within state or territory court systems.
Pay
A$1,345 a week
This is the median for full-time employees who are not managers and are paid at the adult rate, before tax and salary sacrifice. It is a guide to what the work pays, not a wage rate.
