Requirements

The standard entry pathway requires a diploma, advanced diploma or associate degree (ABS skill level 2). Specific qualification requirements vary by employer and state. The honest hard part

The job is relentless customer-facing work mixed with admin, shift coverage (early opens, late closes), and liability stress if someone gets injured. Staff turnover is constant.

Where the jobs are

Suburban shopping centres and local councils run community facilities too. Regional towns have fewer options and smaller facilities. The fitness industry clusters around population centres. Remote work is non-existent for this role.
