The honest hard part

You'll be on-call for emergencies and guest issues 24/7, even on weekends and holidays. Pay is modest and unlikely to grow much without moving into larger resort management. The job is physically demanding: you're inspecting sites, fixing problems, and dealing with angry guests when things go wrong. Compliance headaches with councils never stop.

Where the jobs are

Some in outback tourism areas. The reality is you need to be willing to live in or near a town with tourism. Remote work isn't possible for this role.

Pay
